Stroke

Innovative rehabilitation and individual therapy for people who have suffered a stroke.

Robotics makes the difference - Rehab 2.0

In a stroke, a part of the brain is undersupplied due to a circulatory disorder or bleeding from a cerebral artery. As a result of this undersupply, brain cells subsequently die and neurological deficits can occur. These deficits can lead to impaired cognitive abilities, reduced or absent strength and sensitivity and also to changes in tone, such as spasticity.

Rehabilitation begins in hospital and, depending on the severity, can be continued in an outpatient setting in order to further train and educate motor skills and abilities.

At tech2people, we offer state-of-the-art neurophysiological physiotherapy and occupational therapy, which enables guided movement sequences to be performed with the help of robotic devices. In contrast to conventional therapies, the support of robotics makes it possible to increase the number of repetitions many times over, which allows an important principle of motor learning to be pursued.

We will be happy to draw up a therapy plan with you in an initial consultation and help you achieve your goals.

We look forward to hearing from you.
