Paraplegia

Innovative rehabilitation and individual therapy for people with spinal cord injury.

In the case of paraplegia, the nerve fibers of the spinal cord are partially or completely severed or injured.

Depending on the level at which the spinal cord injury has occurred, the underlying functions are impaired. This means that only the legs, legs and torso or, if the damage is severe, the arms and breathing may also be impaired. The impairments can vary from a lack of muscle activity, reduced or absent sensitivity, spastic muscles to vegetative symptoms.

Our founder, Gregor Demblin, is himself paraplegic. He tried therapy with the exoskeleton for the first time in 2017 and was incredibly enthusiastic. He achieved his goal of enabling all other people with spinal cord injuries to walk with the exoskeleton on an outpatient basis by founding tech2people.

At our therapy center, therapy sessions can be booked with both the exoskeleton and the Lokomat.

Our patients report the following positive effects of the therapy:

  • Improvement in cardiovascular function

  • Improvement of bladder function

  • Prevention of osteoporosis

  • Improvement of breathing

  • Muscle building

  • Feelings of happiness

  • Joy of life and motivation

You can watch numerous videos on therapy with the exoskeleton and tech2people at Youtube-Kanal.

We would love to help you get out of your wheelchair and walk a few hundred steps per therapy session again. During an initial appointment, we will discuss what is possible and which therapy goals are achievable. We look forward to your visit.
